Do you want to help IPPF EN promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) within European policies? Join us to advance women’s rights and sexual and reproductive rights in in the context of development cooperation and external relations of the European Union.

As part of the broader “European engagement” team and more specifically the “Europe in the World” Unit, you will be responsible for implementing the Brussels-based EU international advocacy work of IPPF EN. You will work closely with colleagues in the team as a liaison function between IPPF EN and the EU institutions and the Brussels based civil society networks taking up specific tasks as relevant for the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights. You will take up specific responsibilities on monitoring and following up on gender issues in external policies as well as on SRHR financing in the context of the EU budget. In addition, you will contribute to a specific multi-stakeholder advocacy project called Countdown 2030 Europe by ensuring that all EU advocacy work of Countdown 2030 Europe partners across Europe is well informed and coordinated efficiently.

Profile: We are looking for a team player with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in European advocacy, including experience in the field of EU development cooperation and demonstrating sound knowledge on the EU structures and processes. A proven track record in working in alliances/ coalitions is essential. Fluency in English is required together with excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal/negotiating skills. You have strong analytical, organizational and report writing skills. Knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights or Gender issues is desirable.
